We understand that circumstances change.

We offer a number of concessionary rates for a membership subscription to try and ensure that you can still retain your membership no matter what your current circumstances are. If you don’t find an option that is applicable to you and you are having difficulty paying your renewal fee for any reason please do get in touch with us at  membership@treasurers.org

What concessions are available?

There are four levels of concessionary rates:

Career break or unemployed
This discounted rate is available to all Affiliate members, Associate members or Fellows who are not currently in employment. This rate provides you with all the benefits you currently receive, but you must inform us when you re-enter employment, even if it is only a part-time or contractual role. This rate currently costs £112 per annum for the subscription period ending 30 April 2025.
Retired
Our Retired membership rate is available to all Affiliate Members, Associate Members or Fellows who are either fully retired or are performing unpaid work during their retirement. The benefits of Retired Membership are exactly the same as you would receive if you were paying the full subscription fee, and this rate currently costs £159 per annum for the subscription period ending 30 April 2025.
Retired without the Treasurer
Our Retired without the Treasurer magazine membership rate is available to all Affiliate Members, Associate Members or Fellows who are either fully retired or are performing unpaid work during their retirement. This rate provides all the benefits you currently receive with the exception of the printed copy of the Treasurer magazine - you will still be able to view the on-line version however. This rate currently costs £65 per annum for the subscription period ending 30 April 2025.
Life membership
The Life Membership rate is available to Fellows, Associate Members and Affiliate Members who are 65 years of age or older, and currently either fully retired or performing unpaid work during their retirement. This rate provides all the benefits you currently receive with the exception of the printed copy of the Treasurer magazine - you will still be able to view the on-line version however. The cost of this rate is a one-off payment of £194, after which you will be an ACT Member for Life, and will not need to pay any further annual subscription fees.

 

How can I switch to one of the above rates?

To switch to one of the above rates all you need to do is email us at membership@treasurers.org.

 

I'm not unemployed or retired, but I'm having difficulty paying my subscription fee

If you don't qualify for the criteria of the above rates but are having difficulty making payment for your subscription fee, please do get in touch with us. We can consider your case for an exception or a delayed payment of fees, and we'd always rather keep you on board than lose you!
