Caroline has been Chief Executive of the ACT since Feb 2017. Past roles include VP Finance for Unilever’s Foods Europe (Unilever’s largest contributor in terms of bottom line), Head of Finance for the $23bn pharma division of Novartis, CFO of Save the Children International (a $1bn ‘start-up’ which merged operations across 110 countries) and CFO of the British Council, the UK’s largest charity working in 115 countries. Caroline has worked in c70 countries and speaks 7 languages.
Josh May FCCA has worked in finance for over 20 years. In 2015 he moved into consultancy having seen first-hand the benefits that Software as a Service (SaaS) and automation can bring to the finance function. Initially at BlackLine and more recently as a Senior Director of Solutions Consulting (EMEA) with LeaseAccelerator, Josh has played a key role in driving business across Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, bringing tangible benefits to customers. His experience throughout his career in both finance and the software sectors uniquely positions him to truly understand and help solve the problems that companies face. At LeaseAccelerator his focus is on delivering SaaS solutions that automate and improve processes, to provide accuracy, reduce time to close the books and deliver a substantial return on investment.
Rob became Deputy Chief Executive in 2015 and has been the Group’s Chief Financial Officer since 2006, having joined the organisation in 1994. He leads the Group’s Operational Finance, Corporate Finance and ICT Teams and has responsibility for audit and risk management.
Rob has led and been involved in a number of key growth projects with extensive experience in developing a business plan that is now delivering around 700 new homes each year across a range of different tenures.
Elsewhere, Rob is the Chair of the Housing Statement of Recommended Practice Working Party (SORP) and in 2016 was appointed as a member of the Financial Reporting Councils Technical Advisory Group. More recently, in February 2018, Rob was appointed as an employer representative to the Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS).
