Thanks to your generosity over the past 3 years, the ACT Annual Dinners have raised over £120,000 to date, which has enabled Hand in Hand to create some 749 businesses and 971 jobs for vulnerable women and men in Kenya. The incomes from those businesses will help women put food on the table and pay for healthcare and education for many years to come.
This year, our goal is to raise £60,000 to help fund projects supporting more than 1,350 people in Kenya and Tanzania to start businesses. The money they earn, will enable them to buy food, as well as the shoes and books the children need for school, the new roof that will keep them warm in winter and medicine when needed.
