Joanna has held the role of Group Treasurer in three very different large complex organisations and currently sits on the ACT Council and is the Chair of ARAC. In her most recent role as Group Treasurer of PageGroup, she implemented sustainable financing, a sustainable investment framework and enhanced insurance renewal cycles for ESG compliance. In addition to her Group Treasurer role, Joanna also led sustainability and ESG for PageGroup. Appointed as CSO to establish the function and sitting on the board-appointed Sustainability Committee, she leveraged her considerable finance experience with the overarching objective of improving shareholder value. Joanna has driven various sustainability and diversity initiatives across the treasury community, including co-hosting the annual ESG conference. Joanna is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the ACT and more recently studied a post-graduate certificate in sustainable business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Anna, the CEO of Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) and Founder of The Wisdom Council, is a leading figure in promoting gender equality and data-driven innovation in the financial services industry. Her leadership has evolved WIBF into a pioneering gender network, renowned for its impactful thought leadership, mentoring and awards programs. Her efforts have significantly broadened opportunities for women in finance, and her vision has been a driving force behind WIBF’s success and its role in shaping industry discourse on gender equality. At The Wisdom Council, Anna champions a forward-thinking approach, integrating customer insights into the heart of financial service innovation. This commitment has steered the company towards pioneering inclusive financial solutions, and TWC were proud to be awarded B corp at the end of 2023. Her 'Yes She Can' campaign has effectively tackled barriers in women’s financial participation. Anna also serves on the Advisory Board of The Female Lead, is a member of the Bank of England’s CEO Decision Maker Panel and is a judge for the Private Asset Management (PAM) and Scottish Financial Enterprise (SFE) Awards.
Iain is an expert in integrated communications, global political risk and public policy with over 30 years of experience in communications, initially as a business journalist and then as a founding shareholder at Incisive Media. He has worked for a range of politicians as an advisor. Iain is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at H/Advisors Cicero and focuses on public policy and corporate communications strategy, supporting many global FTSE and Fortune 500 blue chip organisations. He is a Non-Executive Director of Innovate Finance and one of the Financial Times Global 100 LGBTQ Executives. Iain is a former chair of the Stonewall Board. He sits on the Court of the University of St Andrews as a Non-Executive Director. Iain was the UK Government’s first LGBT+ Business Champion. In February 2024, he published an independent report, 'A New Partnership - A Term Plan for Government Business Relations to Power Our Economy and Society' for Shadow Business and Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds, MP.
Ines is a Non-Executive Board Member and Chair of the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Committee for the Environment Agency. Ines is also a member of the A4S Accounting for Sustainability Expert Panel and a member of the LSE-TPI Centre’s Commercialisation Committee. Prior to this, Ines was a Group Treasurer at Tideway, a regulated utility and the company building London’s super sewer, where she led the £2 billion sustainable finance strategy and developed the sustainable finance reporting, including climate-related disclosures and Sustainable Development Goals. She has also worked for Citigroup, where she advised on, and arranged financing for infrastructure and energy projects, and later managed a portfolio of structured assets. Ines has an Economics degree from Nova University of Business and Economics and a post-graduate certificate in sustainable business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
James is a sustainability strategist and systems thinker with twenty-five years of senior management experience in sustainable finance and business. He has provided leadership for organisations and projects and has served on a range of business, charity boards and governing bodies. James is CEO of RePattern.org, supporting organisations and their stakeholders in effective ecosystem innovation and strategy for sustainability transformation. He is the Chief Catalyst of the Climate Safe Lending Network, a multistakeholder initiative to catalyse the decarbonisation of the banking sector. James is also a Senior Advisor to TOPO Finance on sustainable finance initiatives. He has authored several reports and papers on sustainable finance and impact investing and regularly speaks at events and conferences on sustainable business and positive impact finance.
Kemi is the Head of Treasury Europe at GXO Logistics. She joined GXO in July 2021 and was previously the Director, Treasury at GTT Communications. Prior to this, she held the role of Group Treasury Director at Travelport. Kemi is a chartered accountant (ACA) & qualified corporate treasurer (AMCT) with over 25 years of experience in the banking and corporate sector, working in various treasury and finance roles. Outside structured work, Kemi is a board member of a multi-academy trust and the Dean of Career Nuggets Academy. She is actively involved in delivering mentoring to schools, coaching young female leaders, and is engaged in various initiatives towards inspiring the future. Kemi's contributions to the treasury profession, her advocacy for diversity, and her commitment to empowering others have been recognised with the prestigious Treasury Today's 2023 EMEA Woman of the Year award.
Sarah is responsible for setting the sustainable business framework, Healthier People Healthier Planet, at Britvic plc. This includes setting global minimum standards of execution, governance oversight, supporting the ESG committee and communicating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to generate a transparent understanding of Britvic Plc’s progress and challenges. With over 20 years of FMCG experience, including 18 years with Diageo, Sarah's cross-functional career spans sustainable business, investor relations, finance, M&A, marketing and innovation.
Yann is a partner at PwC with over 30 years of experience in supporting organisations on a broad range of treasury projects. At PwC, Yann has held other roles across multiple aspects of the firm including, diversity & talent development, partner admissions and clients & markets. He has been a member of the ACT Appointments, Remuneration and Audit Committee since 2008, was an ACT officer from 2013 to 2017, and was ACT President in 2016. Yann has a Master’s degree in Finance from the Universite Paris Dauphine, holds a French accounting qualification and is a Fellow of the ACT.
