Ines is group treasurer at Tideway, a regulated utility and the company building London’s super sewer; Tideway has issued £2 billion of sustainable finance. Prior to Tideway, Ines worked for Citigroup where she advised and arranged financing for infrastructure and energy projects and later managed a portfolio of structured assets. Ines has an Economics degree from Nova University of Business and Economics, a post-graduate certificate in sustainable business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, is a non-executive board member of the Environment Agency and is Tideway’s representative at the Corporate Forum on Sustainable Finance.
Gustavo Heads the ESG and Debt Advisory teams at NatWest and has more than 20 years of experience advising global clients across various industry sectors on financing, debt structure ratings and for the last 4 years, ESG issues. He has recently acted as ESG Advisor to Grosvenor, Eversholt, FirstGroup, Stedin, Drax and Bridges Fund Management. He has recently acted as rating/ financing advisor for clients including INEOS Enterprises, TiL, Telecom Italia, SSE, RWE and Deutsche Telekom. Gustavo has a BA/Economics, MBA/Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and the London School of Economics.
Geert is a Senior Director in the EMEA Sales team for S&P Global Ratings. Based in London, Geert is responsible for S&P Global Ratings’ ESG business activities in EMEA. In addition, Geert is Regional Head of Sales in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Geert joined Standard and Poor’s in March 2014 after spending over 9 years in JPMorgan’s Debt Capital Markets division. In this role, he focused on the origination, structuring and execution of high grade bonds, acquisition finance, private placements, hybrid bonds and high yield financings for European corporate clients.
Geert graduated as a Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Amsterdam in December 2003.

James joined the ACT Policy & Technical team in September 2019 with 30 years’ experience of international finance, most recently within Group Treasury of Royal Dutch Shell plc as Head of Regulatory Affairs, Head of Compliance and Controller of Group Pensions. James is a qualified accountant (ACMA/CGMA), with a degree in Law & Politics, who has worked in UK, Africa, South America & Middle East. He has been CFO/Finance Manager of various entities in the energy, commodities, technology and not for profit sectors. James enjoys engaging with stakeholders and has contributed to many working groups, including the FSB’s Market Participants Group on reforming interest rate benchmarks.
