Alastair Sewell is a senior director and regional head of Fitch Ratings’ Fund and Asset Manager Group for EMEA and APAC. Alastair was previously a CDO asset manager analyst in Fitch’s structured credit group. He began his career as a performance analyst in Fitch’s CDO surveillance team. Prior to joining Fitch, Alastair worked for a UK local authority.
Alastair earned a BSc from the University of Bristol and an MBA with distinction from the University of Bath.
Minyue Wang is a director in Fitch Ratings’ Fund and Asset Manager Group.
Minyue was previously a U.S. Public Finance Data Specialist in Fitch’s Financial Database Group. She started her career as a Bank data analyst in Financial Database Group.
Minyue earned a BSc with first-class honours from Aston Business School and an MSc with distinction from Cass Business School.

James joined the ACT Policy & Technical team in September 2019 with 30 years’ experience of international finance, most recently within Group Treasury of Royal Dutch Shell plc as Head of Regulatory Affairs, Head of Compliance and Controller of Group Pensions. James is a qualified accountant (ACMA/CGMA), with a degree in Law & Politics, who has worked in UK, Africa, South America & Middle East. He has been CFO/Finance Manager of various entities in the energy, commodities, technology and not for profit sectors. James enjoys engaging with stakeholders and has contributed to many working groups, including the FSB’s Market Participants Group on reforming interest rate benchmarks.
