The winners of this year’s ACTME Treasury Deals of the Year Awards for bonds, loans and treasury teams reflect this development. All the deals nominated inevitably mirrored and absorbed the current business and economic environment in the GCC. Market timing certainly plays a part, but at a time of market volatility it is not the whole story: good treasury management is still key to whether a deal is successful or not.
