Carel is a Fellow of the ACT and has spent nearly 40 years in financial services as a management consultant, Global Chief Operating Officer for various Fixed Income and FX businesses at UBS investment bank, Change Manager at Deutsche Börse Group, interim CFO for a PE firm, Board Adviser to an impact investing VC firm and, until recently, Head of Impact at a RegTech firm.
He is now a partner at Rodford & Partners, a sustainability consultancy and recruitment firm. Carel is passionate about sustainability and helps businesses develop and implement sustainability strategies. He believes that treasurers have a key role to play in driving sustainability and ensuring long-term success for their businesses.
