As an international professional membership organisation with over 5,000 members working in treasury around the world, the ACT is committed to embedding ESG principles in all that we do.
Environmental: we are committed to supporting sustainable finance, and to operating as an environmentally-aware organisation.
Social: we are working with the treasury community to support diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the profession. Within our own organisation we encourage an inclusive culture.
Governance: the ACT’s Ethical Code for members is undergoing a review which will include consideration of green and sustainable finance principles.
We are a signatory to the Sustainable Finance Education Charter, and embed sustainable finance in all of the ACT qualifications. We have also pledged support for the Federation of Awarding Bodies' Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan.
We have created short training courses on ESG and on Leadership for the FutureLearn platform, with more courses planned to extend the reach of our training.
We embed ESG into the ACT events programme, including webinars and roundtables as well as conferences. Our ESG conference takes place at the end of every year.
ESG is a key component in the annual Deals of the Year Awards, Middle East Treasury Awards and the Diversity & Sustainability Awards. See more on ACT Awards.
The ACT's magazine covers a wide range of ESG topics in monthly online articles and within the quarterly print edition.
Our Policy & Technical team provides resources on ESG and sustainable finance for ACT members, and a regular blog on the latest developments.
