Harry is a partner in the Herbert Smith Freehills disputes practice. He co-leads the firm's thought leadership on the litigation and regulatory risks arising from LIBOR transition. Harry supports clients with strategically critical disputes as well as regulatory enforcement matters. He has extensive experience in advising issuers and financial advisor banks on class actions and leads our UK practice in that area. He has recently acted on two of the biggest financial cases in the English courts: The Libyan Investment Authority v Goldman Sachs and The Lloyds/HBOS Shareholder Litigation. Harry is highly experienced in claims involving securitisations and other complex derivative products.
Nick is a partner in the Hebert Smith Freehills finance practice. He acts for a broad spectrum of clients in the derivatives and structured finance field and co-leads the firm's LIBOR transition programme. His experience includes advising clients across all affected sectors on LIBOR transition, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team covering all aspects of transition. Nick advises on all aspects of derivatives, including finance linked hedging, derivatives in a variety of asset classes, structured products and derivatives regulation. His clients include financial institutions, corporates, funds and energy companies. He advises on a broad range of products including commodity, interest rate, currency and equity derivatives.
John is Group Treasurer of Severn Trent Plc, joining in July 2014 after six years as Group Treasurer of the Weir Group PLC. John has previously worked for Marks & Spencer Plc and Halifax PLC in senior Treasury positions after training as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. He is both a Fellow and a former Council Member of the ACT.
Sarah has extensive corporate experience with over two decades in industry working in a wide range of finance and treasury roles with companies including Cadbury and Whitbread. A qualified accountant, she now spends her time applying her insights to practical use, enabling others to understand how the corporate financial world works and the relevance of developments in financial markets on their day to day activities. She is an Associate Member of the ACT.
