The ACT is delighted to announce that it will be working with Birmingham Business School at the University of Birmingham to support the development of international future finance talent.
Birmingham is the first to become an ACT accredited University for our new qualifications.
All students graduating from the MSc Financial Management programme will, in addition to their degree, be able to gain the Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals and Certificate in Treasury if they meet the required criteria either through exemption or further study.
This will help get graduates off to the best possible start in their careers with a recognised professional qualification.
Existing ACT members can also help aspiring finance professionals from Birmingham University by offering short-term work placements to final year Accounting and Finance, Economics and Business students. The University’s commitment to developing and strengthening links with businesses means that, through the work placement scheme, you can gain additional support from creative and innovative students who possess analytical and research skills, keen to apply their skills to a real-life work setting and understand today’s labour market.
