Peter Matza joined the ACT in September 2006, was appointed Head of Publishing in May 2008 and Engagement Director in February 2012. Peter is responsible for developing strategy to widen the ACT’s engagement with the global treasury community, as well as the publications business of the ACT. Peter is a Fellow of the ACT and a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Peter has over 25 years of treasury and banking experience.
Sandra Ro is Executive Director, Global Head of Foreign Exchange (FX) and Metals Research and Product Development at CME Group. She is responsible for the development of FX and precious, base, ferrous metals solutions within listed and cleared OTC products, as well as CME Europe, a new exchange based in London, launched in April 2014.
Ro brings her client advisory, structuring and trade execution experience in OTC FX forwards and options to CME Group. Prior to joining CME Group in 2011, Ro led the EMEA FX and interest rates mergers & acquisitions advisory group in connection with hedging derivatives in large cross border transactions, as well as in IPOs, bond issuances, and special situations.
Before that, Ro worked at Deutsche Bank as a FX structurer on the London trading floor, providing hedging solutions for corporates as well as REITS and private equity clients.
Ro holds a M.B.A. in Finance from London Business School and a double B.A. Degree in History and Studies in the Environment from Yale University with a concentration in the Proliferation of Chemical and Biological Weaponry in the 20th century. She has been awarded the 2014 Chairman’s Award by the Yale Alumni Fund Board in February 2015 for her volunteer work and contributions to Yale.
Paul has over 15 years corporate treasury experience most recently within the airline, IT and business service sectors.
Paul is currently working as Assistant Treasurer for Intertek Group plc, which is a multinational inspection, product testing and certification company headquartered in London.
