More than 100 organisations have now achieved ACT Accredited Employer status, confirming their commitment to the professional development of their treasury staff.
In 2012, Pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline was the first organisation to become an ACT Accredited Employer. It has now been joined by a range of well-known names, including defence company BAE Systems, Middle Eastern conglomerate Mubadala Development Company, Lloyds Banking Group, professional services firm PwC and Westminster City Council.
Under the ACT Accredited Employer scheme, the ACT helps employers to ensure they have the right measures in place to enable their treasury staff to develop and progress in their careers.
Between them, ACT Accredited Employers employ more than 1,100 ACT members and over 550 students – that’s one quarter of all of the association’s members and students.
