The course is designed to be studied in around 200 hours, over a period of six months.
You will learn through a combination of online self-study (via ACT Learning) and attendance at a compulsory four-day Residential School. You will also have the option to attend a case study/assignment writing workshop. You can find more information in the key dates section below.

Anyone enrolling to study the CertBALM® will be offered student membership of ALMA, the fee for which is included in the online self-study and Residential School fee. Student members can attend meetings, courses and conferences organised by ALMA at member fee rates. They will also be added to the ALMA Newsletter subscription list.
CertBALM® membership is offered to those who pass the certificate. Members can attend meetings, courses and conferences organised by the Association at member fee rates. They will also be added to the ALMA Newsletter subscription list. The fee for CertBALM® membership is £50 (plus VAT) per annum but this will be waived if your firm is a corporate member of ALMA.
Step 1: You will need to log in using your ACT username and password.
Step 2: You will be required to make payment at the point of booking. Your assessment booking will be processed within five working days. When your booking has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.
