Speaking opportunities

“Being on a panel enriches the conference experience, makes the whole event more personal and facilitates higher engagement with fellow delegates and the ACT. Whatever the event I encourage my team to take an active role as it is a better learning experience than being passive. A panel is a generally safe environment to build confidence in presenting in front of a large audience. Important to have a pre-conference discussion with fellow panellists and coordinate responses, get to know each other a little and have some responses prepared.”

Panellist at the ACT Annual Conference 2017

SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Case study

Present a recent experience or concrete project managed by your treasury department – sessions include discussion around obstacles and lessons learned and involve time for Q&A

  • Presentation

A single speaker can lead a plenary or present alongside a colleague or peer. Live questions to poll the audience via our mobile event app can be included in your presentation, followed by Q&A

  • Panel discussion

Discussions bring together the perspectives of three to four treasury experts into a cohesive conversation, led by a moderator. These sessions engage delegates – inviting them to think and debate on the multiple viewpoints presented and participate in Q&A

  • Breakout/track session

Attendees can choose between several sessions taking place concurrently and focus on a specific topic in a smaller group setting. They take various formats (workshops, roundtables, etc.) and are interactive

Do you have an idea for a session? Then please get in touch! We welcome non-promotional presentations that provide meaningful takeaways for attendees. Our conferences strongly encourage interactive sessions that generate conversation and topical debate.
